- Read and comment freely — you just can't republish or resell our articles without permission.
- You're responsible for what you post and for keeping your account secure.
- We can suspend accounts that break these terms, and correct errors when you report them.
These terms govern your use of dailysuargam.com, operated by Suargam, a sole proprietorship based in Jammu & Kashmir, India. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Using Suargam
Suargam publishes news, an e-paper edition, and lets readers create accounts to save articles and comment. You must be at least 18, or have a parent/guardian's permission, to create an account.
2. Your account
- Keep your password confidential — you're responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information when creating an account.
- Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Content ownership
Articles, photographs, the e-paper editions, and the Suargam name and logo are owned by Suargam or used under license, and are protected by copyright. You may read, share links to, and quote our content with attribution, but you may not republish, resell, or redistribute our articles or e-paper editions in full without our written permission.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Impersonate any person or entity, in comments, the contact form, or otherwise.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the site, e.g. through spam or automated scraping.
6. Third-party sign-in and services
If you sign in with Google, that sign-in is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy in addition to ours. Our Privacy Policy explains the other service providers (Supabase, Cloudflare, Netlify, Resend) that help us run the site.
7. No warranty
Suargam is provided “as is.” While we aim for accuracy, we make no guarantee that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that all content is complete or current. If you spot an error, please tell us via corrections@dailysuargam.com.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suargam is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, or from content submitted by other users (including comments).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continuing to use Suargam after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Jammu & Kashmir.

3. Comments and submissions
When you submit a comment or message us through the Contact page, you retain ownership of what you write, but you give us permission to display, edit for length or clarity, or remove it at our discretion. All comments are moderated before appearing publicly. We may decline to publish, or later remove, any comment for any reason — including if it's unlawful, defamatory, harassing, spam, or off-topic.
